The optical fiber connector
Optical fiber connector is a device for detachable (active) connection between optical fibers and optical fibers. It precisely butts the two end faces of optical fibers so that the light energy output by the transmitting optical fibers can be coupled to the receiving optical fibers to the greatest extent. And minimize the impact on the system due to its involvement in the optical link, which is the basic requirement of fiber optic connectors. To a certain extent, optical fiber connectors affect the reliability and performance of optical transmission systems.
